Flaura shines at the Gala OSEntreprendre régional de la Capitale-Nationale
An evening rich in emotion and recognition for sustainable innovation
Québec City, May 2, 2025 – The Flaura team is extremely proud to have won the Exploitation, transformation, production prize in the Business Creation category of the Gala OSEntreprendre régional de la Capitale-Nationale. This prestigious distinction underscores our commitment to transforming natural residues – notably Quebec apples – into high-end, sustainable and eco-responsible vegetable leathers.
The evening was marked by a shower of emotions, as Flaura also received three “Coup de coeur” awards:
- Coup de coeur in women’s entrepreneurship,
- A favorite of Quebec’s chief scientist,
- Coup de coeur in sustainable development.
These accolades testify to the relevance and impact of our mission: to reinvent the raw material of the future, by valorizing local food waste while creating concrete alternatives to animal leather and synthetic materials.
